About
Nicole Brachetti Peretti
Long before this journal, the thread running through everything was a love of looking closely. Nicole Brachetti Peretti gives much of her time to the arts: she was a committee member of the Tate Americas Foundation and a trustee of the Royal Academy Trust, and counts the cooperative photography agency Magnum Photos among the ventures she has backed. Supporting the people who make and protect culture is, for her, the most rewarding kind of investment.
That instinct grows out of a wider life in business. Nicole Brachetti Peretti is an international entrepreneur, venture capital investor and philanthropist, born on 27 April 1980 in Düsseldorf and now working across Europe and beyond. She is the founder of NJF Holdings and its venture capital arm, NJF Capital, through which she backs companies in artificial intelligence, healthtech, biotech, fintech and deep technology.
Her portfolio reaches from the frontier of space to the everyday tools of modern finance, with holdings that include SpaceX, Revolut, Rippling, Lendable and the healthcare artificial intelligence company Owkin, where she also serves on the board of directors. She is an investor in Infront Sports & Media as well.
Alongside the arts, her philanthropy and public service run deep. Nicole Brachetti Peretti was a trustee of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and a member of the United Kingdom's HealthTech Advisory Board. She was educated at the International University of Monaco and Harvard Business School, and speaks five languages: German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
